From August 12, 2026, new EU regulations concerning packaging and packaging waste will come into effect, introducing additional requirements for brands shipping products into the European Union.

As a small independent brand making and shipping our pieces from our studio in Japan, these changes require us to review how we can continue serving our customers in the EU in a way that is both compliant and sustainable for SOSSNA&CO.

For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily pause shipping to all EU countries from August 12, 2026.

We know this will be disappointing to our customers in Europe, and it is especially bittersweet for us given SOSSNA&CO’s close connection to Sweden and the inspiration we continue to find there.

This is a pause, not a goodbye.

We are currently looking into the best way forward and hope to make SOSSNA&CO available to our EU customers again in the future. As soon as anything changes, we will share an update here and through our social channels.

Orders to Japan and destinations outside the EU will continue as usual.
